Rivers
Kayak Alberta:
One of the biggest things that can help us at Kayak Alberta is if our readers and fellow kayakers share their input on the rivers/creeks/waves they run. If you kayak albertas rivers and you want to know which one might best suit your kayaking abilities or which river other fellow kayakers like to run the most, kayak alberta is your kinda site. We need your help though to help us update or even create our river logs.
If any one is an active kayaker and has run albertas river dont hesitate to email kayakalberta@gmail.com with their experiences. We would love to hear them and if its cool post them on the site for other kayakers to read.
Now to the Rivers:
Since most of Alberta’s whitewater is along the mountains and foothills, this is what we’ll mostly be focusing on. Our kayak river guide will include pictures of the main features of runs, along with detailed “put ins” and “take outs”.
We hope to soon have detailed GPS details on the rivers we at kayak alberta run that will be input into our river logs.
